Join instructor Jamie Lee Miller for an intuitive movement class that is equal parts relaxing & energizing.
This intuitive movement class is an invitation to deepen your connections to mind, body and spirit. Inspired by the natural elements; fire, water, earth & air, we’ll flow through a unique dance of yoga, ballet, modern & bellydance in ways that are accessible to movers of all levels. Here you are given permission to breathe deeply, listen to your body, find your own rhythm and take up space. You’ll gain balance, strength, mobility, self awareness & body appreciation.
Class starts with a very slow and juicy warm-up that brings energy & awareness through your body to your joints & muscle groups. There will always be options to simplify or deepen every movement as you feel in the moment. Following, the class transitions into playful combinations that you can make your own. There is no right or wrong, there is no focus on strict technique or specific counts. It is a safe space to explore yourself, to feel the elements within your body, to breathe and move, to express and expand.
