LSDC Sensual Bachata Partner Team: Dámelo
Dámelo, directed by World Champion Heidi Islas and William Knight. This experienced-beginner team is designed to strengthen the natural sensual and rhythmic movement of Bachata through progressive and consistent training.
We develop fundamental techniques of body movement for leaders and followers to build connection and flow from the dance floor to the performance stage.
All genders and gender presentations that would like to learn following or leading technique are welcome.
Requirements for the Sensual Bachata Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Experienced-beginner or higher, Bachata 1 and 2 required
New Season: Orientation and Introduction February 20th 7:30-8:30 at the Annex
Team Rehearses: Fridays 7:00 PM- 8:30 PM
Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Ladies Salsa Bachata Fusion Team: Las Sabrosas
Directed by Los Sabrosos co-founder Nicolette Garcia-Pawlowski, join this awesome ladies team to improve your Salsa and Bachata, upgrade your styling and turns, and shine on the dance floor!
All genders and gender presentations that would like to learn feminine styling and ladies technique welcome.
Requirements for Las Sabrosas Salsa Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Experienced-beginner or higher
New Season: Starting February 4th, 2026
Team Rehearses: Wednesdays from 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Partner Salsa Intermediate-Advanced Competition Team: Sensación Latina
Directed by Los Sabrosos co-founder Agustin Garcia-Pawlowski, this fantastic team takes on more advance partnerwork choreography with the intention of performing and competing in Congresses.
Requirements for Salsa Partner Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Intermediate or higher. Requires Audition.
Next Season: *Auditions and orientation: January 26th, 2026*
Team Rehearses: Monday from 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Partner Intermediate Salsa Team: Esencia Latina
Directed by Los Sabrosos co-founder Agustin Garcia-Pawlowski, join this amazing performance team to build upon your Salsa partnerwork, upgrade your styling and turns, and wow anyone you approach for a dance at socials from now on!
Requirements for Salsa Partner Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Intermediate or higher. Requires Audition.
Current Season: Fall 2025-Fall 2026
Team Rehearses: Sundays from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Bachata Partner Team: Bachatalicious
Directed by World Champions, Heidi Islas and Stan Kochanek, this advanced beginner partner team will really take your Bachata to the next level by perfecting your existing techniques and transforming your performance quality!
Due to the level of skill and commitment required, selection for this season of Bachatalicious will be through audition or instructor selection.
Requirements for Bachatalicious Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Experienced-beginner or higher. Requires Audition.
Current Season: Fall 2025-Fall 2026
Team Rehearses: Tuesdays from 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Pre-Professional/Advance Partner Team: Fuerza Steel
Directed by World Champions, Stan Kochanek and Heidi Islas, this awesome advanced Bachata and Salsa partner team will really expand your dancing, upgrade your Salsa and Bachata techniques, and have you shine on the dance floor!
Requirements for Fuerza Steel Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Advance Level. Requires Audition
Current Season: Fall 2025-Fall 2026
Team Rehearses: Mondays from 7:30PM-9PM
Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Bellydance Troupe: Vetiver
Internationally renowned dancer, Maria Hamer, directs an intermediate/advanced level fusion Bellydance troupe training in performance, stage presence, finger cymbals, costuming, musicality, staging, and more!
Requirements for Vetiver Dance Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Intermediate (must take at least one class with Maria before joining)
Auditions: Please call the studio to book an audition with Maria
Technique Classes & Rehearsals: Thursdays from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

LSDC Bollywood Team: Bolly Rangeela
Directed by instructors Samannaaz Khoja and Geeta Tahiliani, the focus of this group is to get you comfortable performing in front of a live audience. This experience is perfect for those looking to level-up their Bollywood dancing skills, increase their stage presence, and have lots of fun while doing it!
Requirements for Bollywood Performance Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Previous experience in any dance style is needed

Mandatory Practice: At least one hour a week

LSDC Beginner and Experienced-Beginner Partner Salsa Team: “Salsa Picante”
Directed by Ed Ribar, this new team focuses on fun Salsa partner dancing moves that are applicable to both stage performances and weekend social dancing. Great for beginner dancers looking to try performing!
Requirements for Salsa Picante Performance Team:
Minimum Skill Level: Beginners and Experienced Beginners (Must complete Salsa 1 & 2 or show equivalent skills)
