Trinidad (Trini) Regaspi and Sean Cosgrove helped found the Pittsburgh tango community over 30 years ago and have taught during most of that time. Experts at milonguero-style dancing, they take a natural approach in teaching both body dynamics and choreography development, working with small movements that can then be built into larger figures. Deeply familiar with the main three styles of tango (salon, milonguero, nuevo), they’ve taken the best of those styles to create a solid foundation for dancing.
Formal instruction will be held Sundays from 4-5 pm, and students may continue practicing during Pittsburgh Tangueros Práctica (Sundays 5-6pm), free of charge, so that students may continue practicing with experienced dancers or preview a class they may have to miss! Práctica is $5 for all non-students.
